About

Sarah Bell has been teaching yoga classes for twenty five years. Her classes are instructive, her attention to detail and action makes the yoga accessible, and philosophy is offered in such a way that students can understand and apply the concepts to their own practice and to their daily activity.

Her first teacher training, in 1994, was in Santa Monica, CA with Erich Schiffmann at Yoga Works. She continued her studies there with apprenticeships with Erich, Maty Ezraty, Chuck Miller, and Lisa Walford. After teaching for nearly twenty years, Sarah was a student in a two-year Iyengar Yoga teacher training in New York City taught by James Murphy.

Sarah has been teaching YogaWorks 200 and 300 Hour Teacher Training courses since 2005 (Costa Mesa, NYC, Hazlet NJ, Richmond VA, Chapel Hill NC, Detroit MI, Memphis TN, Jacksonville FL, Manila Philippenes and now: Fruita CO). She mentors teachers, and is currently studying to be an End of Life doula. She is honored to be able to participate in the Grand Valley Yoga Fest and be a small part of such an essential force for hope and change.
