Dr. Marie Collier is a Board-certified neurologist and epileptologist as well as an integrative medicine doctor who practices in Grand Junction. She started studying kundalini yoga as a teenager and spent the summer in Espanola, NM studying under the guidance of Yogi Bhajan who bestowed upon her the spiritual name Guru Prem Kaur at the age of 17. Since that time she has studied yoga in India and recently became an RYT-200 certified yoga teacher through the Baptiste Institute. She also recently completed Baptiste Level 1 in Tulum, Mexico with Baron Baptiste. 

Dr. Collier believes that yoga can help patients with neurological disorders on many levels and recommends yoga to her patients for a number of conditions. She also teaches yoga to physicians having taught at the American Academy of Neurology's annual conference (she has been invited back to teach in 2019) as well as the Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine's annual conference.
