About

Goose is a military veteran turned Yogi! She has been practicing yoga for over 9 years now and teaching for 8 years.  Goose became a yoga teacher for the purpose of bringing yoga to fellow veterans because of how much it helped her while navigating through her injuries, therapies, and continuous recovery.  She loves to teach any and all yoga, including Beginning/All abilities, Vinyasa Flow, Trauma Informed and adaptive Yoga.  Goose loves how ANY and EVERY - BODY can do yoga! 

In 2016 Goose started a yoga program in the Grand Valley, free to Veterans and has also filmed a yoga video that she sends to veterans for free to help them start their own yoga practice.   Goose manages Ridgeline Fitness, a local gym here in the Grand Valley, teaching classes and yoga there as well and spends much of her time on her small farm with her family and animals, homesteading. 

Goose received her 200RYT Certificate through Life Power Yoga, and has received additional training through workshops including deep opening and alignment; trauma informed yoga through Warriors for Healing, focusing on yoga for veterans.  She was influenced in part by her RYT mentors but says she is influenced most by her students.  She wants her students to believe in themselves and know that they are enough.  "Life is made up of moments, let us embrace the best of them, and let go of the rest of them
